About Harvest Community Church
Harvest Community Church is a Presbyterian Church in America congregation in the Center Point area of Birmingham. The church began as a home Bible study in the summer of 1995 and held its first worship service at Sun Valley Elementary School on Easter Sunday in 1996. After several months, the congregation met in a storefront at Queensbury Shopping Center on Carson Road, where it remained for nine years before purchasing a permanent home off Highway 79. Harvest’s stated mission is to encourage growth in faith and relationships through Jesus Christ. The church offers children’s ministry and small groups, along with Sunday worship and a Wednesday Bible study.
