About The Church
The Church in Birmingham was established on February 4, 1990, and was originally known as Brook Hills Baptist Church. Its stated purpose is to love Jesus, grow in Jesus, and make disciples of Jesus. The church describes its priorities as worship, nurture, and mission, with ministries working together to care for members and share the gospel locally and around the world. Children’s ministry and small groups are part of its congregational life, giving families and adults ways to connect, learn, and serve within the church community.
