About East Point Cumberland
East Point Cumberland Presbyterian Church is a historic Cumberland Presbyterian congregation in Cullman County. Organized on May 22, 1921, by Rev. T.E. Bright, the church first met in the Grassy Branch Schoolhouse. Its present building was constructed with rocks hauled by wagon from a nearby quarry, reflecting the congregation’s deep local roots. East Point offers Sunday School and Bible Study classes for all ages and maintains outreach through a free food pantry and annual participation in the Shoebox Ministry Program.
