About First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church is a Baptist congregation in Montgomery with roots dating to 1829, when it began with four charter members. Its worship life includes traditional Sunday morning services at 8:30 and 11:00, led by the Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra, and a Sunday evening service at 6:15 led by the praise team and student choirs during the school year. The church’s mission is to develop devoted disciples by bringing people to Christ, building them up in Christ, and sending them out. Alongside worship, First Baptist offers children’s ministry and Bible Fellowship Groups for connection and study.
