What to Expect: A First-Time Visitor's Guide to East Valley Church of Christ

Service Format: The Sunday service typically lasts around 60-75 minutes and follows a traditional structure. You can expect:

- Opening songs and prayers - A sermon or lesson from the Bible, usually 20-30 minutes long - Communion (also called the Lord's Supper) where members partake of bread and juice - Offering collection - Closing songs and prayer

The congregation participates through singing, praying, and communion. Visitors are welcome but not obligated to participate.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to find a seat and get oriented. - Greeters at the door will happily answer any questions you have. - Bibles are provided, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer. - Don't worry about the offering - you are our guest, so no need to contribute unless you want to. - After the service, stick around for coffee and refreshments to meet the congregation. - Everyone is friendly and excited to welcome new visitors, so don't hesitate to introduce yourself!
