What to Expect at Word of Life Christian Center in Avondale, Arizona

Dress Code: Word of Life Christian Center has a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You'll see people dressed in anything from casual jeans and t-shirts to business casual attire. The focus is on connecting with God and the community, not outward appearances. Come as you are and wear what makes you feel comfortable.

Service Format: The Sunday morning service begins with a time of praise and worship led by the church's worship team. The service usually lasts around 1-1.5 hours and includes a message from the pastor. You can expect an uplifting, spirit-filled service with a mix of contemporary and traditional worship styles.

There is also a Thursday evening Bible study called ICC365 that is held in-person only from 6:30-7:30 pm. This is a more intimate setting focused on digging deeper into God's word.

Tips for First-Time Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and finding a seat. - Feel free to sit anywhere - the ushers will be happy to assist you in finding a spot. - Participate as much or as little as you're comfortable with. You won't be singled out as a visitor. - Check out the welcome table in the lobby to pick up a visitor packet and talk to a greeter who can answer any questions. - Don't feel obligated to give financially during the offering time unless you want to. Visitors are not expected to contribute. - After the service, feel free to introduce yourself to the pastors or other members of the congregation. They will warmly welcome you.
