"What to Expect" at St. John's United Methodist Church in Kingman, Arizona

Service Format: St. John's offers two distinct worship services on Sundays:

9:00 AM Modern Praise Service: This contemporary service features a praise band leading upbeat, modern worship music. The sermon is still a central part of the service.

10:30 AM Traditional Worship: This service has a more formal, liturgical feel. You can expect organ music, hymns, and a traditional sermon. The service follows a predictable order of worship.

In addition, there is a Christian Folk Worship service on Thursdays at 5:30 PM, which has a casual, intimate vibe.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time for parking and finding a seat. - Grab a bulletin at the entrance - it will have the order of service and other important info. - Feel free to participate as much or as little as you're comfortable. You won't be singled out as a visitor. - Children are welcome in the main services, but there is also a well-staffed nursery available. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to introduce yourself and pick up a visitor packet. - Most importantly, come with an open heart and mind.
