What to Expect at Maricopa Lutheran Church

Welcome to Maricopa Lutheran Church! We're excited to have you visit and experience the warmth and community of our congregation. Here's what you can expect as a first-time visitor:

Dress Code At Maricopa Lutheran, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You'll see people dressed in everything from jeans and t-shirts to slacks and button-downs. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Come as you are!

Service Format Our Sunday morning worship service starts at 10:00 am and is held at Desert Wind Middle School. The service includes a mix of traditional Lutheran liturgy, contemporary praise music, scripture readings, a sermon, and Holy Communion. Communion is open to all who believe in the real presence of Christ in the bread and wine.

Children are welcome to participate in the full service. We also offer a staffed nursery for little ones during the service.

After the service, please join us at 11:15 am for fellowship time with coffee, snacks, and a chance to get to know the congregation better. Adult and children's Christian education classes are also offered at this time.

Tips for Visitors - Arrive a few minutes early to get settled and find a seat. - Don't worry about finding your way - ushers and greeters will be happy to assist you. - Participate as you feel comfortable. You're welcome to sing, pray, or just observe. - Fill out a visitor card so we can welcome you properly and get to know you better. - Stick around after the service to introduce yourself to the pastor and other members.
