What to Expect as a First-Time Visitor to New City Church in Phoenix, Arizona

Dress Code: At New City Church, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome, so there is no formal dress code. You'll see people wearing anything from casual t-shirts and jeans to business casual attire. The most important thing is that you come as you are.

Service Format: Our Sunday services are held at 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Each service lasts around 60-75 minutes and follows a consistent format:

- Worship - We begin with a time of contemporary worship music to help us focus our hearts and minds on God. - Welcome & Announcements - A member of our team will greet you, share any important updates, and guide you through the service. - Message - Our lead pastor or a guest speaker will deliver a relevant, biblical message to encourage and challenge us. - Communion - On the first Sunday of each month, we celebrate communion together, remembering Jesus' sacrifice for us. - Offering - We have an opportunity to give back to God and support the mission of New City Church. This is voluntary - please don't feel any pressure to donate.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive early to allow time for parking and finding a seat. Our services tend to fill up, especially the 10:30 AM service. - Stop by our Welcome Center in the lobby to pick up a visitor packet and connect with a friendly face who can answer any questions. - Feel free to participate as much or as little as you're comfortable with during the service. No one will single you out. - Head to the Café after the service to enjoy some complimentary coffee and snacks, and don't hesitate to introduce yourself to the pastors and staff. - Check out our website or mobile app to learn more about ways to get plugged in and take your next steps at New City Church.
