What to Expect: A Guide for First-Time Visitors to Tempe Christian Church

Dress Code: At Tempe Christian Church, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. You'll see people dressed in a variety of styles, from jeans and t-shirts to business casual. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and ready to worship.

Service Format: Our Sunday services typically last around 60-75 minutes. The service begins with a time of worship through music, led by our talented worship team. This is followed by an engaging, Bible-based message from our pastor. Throughout the service, you'll have opportunities to participate, but you're also welcome to simply observe if you prefer.

We celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month, which is open to all believers. If you choose not to partake, that's perfectly fine.

Tips for Visitors: - Arrive a few minutes early to allow time to find parking and get settled. - Stop by our welcome center to pick up a visitor packet and get any questions answered. - Feel free to sit wherever you'd like - there's no assigned seating. - Participate as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You won't be singled out or put on the spot. - If you have children, we have excellent, age-appropriate programs for them during the service. You can check them in at our kids' check-in area. - After the service, we encourage you to stick around and enjoy some refreshments in the lobby. This is a great time to meet new people and connect with the Tempe Christian Church community.
