What to Expect at Foothills Church of Christ in Yuma, Arizona

Welcome to Foothills Church of Christ! We're so glad you're considering visiting our congregation. Here's a quick guide on what to expect as a first-time visitor:

Dress Code: At Foothills, you'll find a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Most members dress casually in things like jeans, khakis, or nice shirts. You're welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Service Format: Our Sunday morning services start at 10:30 AM. The format typically includes:

- Opening Singing - We sing traditional and contemporary hymns accompanied by the piano. - Communion - We observe communion every Sunday, remembering Christ's sacrifice. Visitors are welcome to participate. - Sermon - Our preacher delivers an inspirational and biblically-based message, usually 30-40 minutes long. - Offering - Members give their tithes and offerings, but visitors are not expected to contribute.

We also have a Spanish service at 1:00 PM on Sundays, as well as a Wednesday evening Bible study at 6:00 PM.

Tips for Visitors: - Feel free to sit anywhere - there are no reserved seats. - Expect a warm greeting from our friendly members who will make you feel welcomed. - Relax and don't worry about doing anything "wrong" - we're just happy you're here! - Check out our Welcome Center if you have any other questions.
