About First Pentecostal Church
First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock is a Pentecostal congregation with roots in the city dating to the late 1930s. Bishop A.O. and Sister Agnes Holmes began pastoring the church in May 1946, and the congregation moved to its Calvary Road facility in 1992. Its present sanctuary opened with the first service on Easter Sunday in 2004. The church’s message centers on repentance, baptism in Jesus’ name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. Worship is contemporary, and children’s ministry is part of the church’s programming.
