About First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock

First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock is a Pentecostal congregation with roots in North Little Rock reaching back to the late 1930s. Bishop A.O. Holmes began pastoring the church in May 1946, marking an important chapter in its early history. The congregation moved into its Calvary Road facility on November 22, 1992, and later began a new sanctuary project with a groundbreaking on February 14, 1999. The first service in that sanctuary was held on Easter Sunday 2004. In April 2008, during the 60th Arkansas International Campmeeting, the mortgage on the sanctuary was retired and the facility was dedicated.
