About Lutheran Church Of The Cross
Lutheran Church of the Cross in Arcadia, California has served its community since 1938, when it was established to minister to Lutheran migrants from the Midwest. The church merged with Shepherd of the Hills in 1968 and later affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America before joining the Lutheran Congregation in Mission for Christ in 2019, reaffirming its commitment to biblical truth. Today, under the leadership of Reverend Charlie Wang and Reverend Greg Swift, LCC welcomes both English-speaking and Chinese-speaking congregants, with a particular focus on integrating first-generation Asian immigrants into its church family. The congregation worships in a sanctuary built in 1965 and features a fully digital organ. Beyond Sunday worship, LCC serves the community through partnerships with local schools and neighboring churches, embodying its vision of discipleship rooted in Scripture and God's love.
