About Temple of The People Inc
The Temple of the People, founded in 1898 in Syracuse, New York, relocated to Halcyon, California, in 1903, where it remains centered in the Blue Star Memorial Temple. The community is dedicated to living the Temple's teachings, which are firmly rooted in Theosophy and focus on realizing one's human and divine form of life. The Temple's foundation rests on three pillars: Religion, Science, and Economics, with an emphasis on the Golden Rule and the self-responsibility of each individual. The Halcyon community has been designated a federal and state historical site. Services and classes welcome all visitors both in person and online, offering daily healing services, Sunday gatherings that include communion, inspirational programs, and weekly study classes focused on practical spiritual application in everyday life.

Service Format: Sunday Services are held at 10:30 a.m. both in person and online; the first Sunday features Feast of Fulfillment communion, the last Sunday offers Enter the Silence with readings and meditation, and other Sundays include speaker talks.
