About Congregational Church of the Peninsula
Congregational Church of the Peninsula is a United Church of Christ congregation in Belmont, known as “the little church on the hill.” It was created through the merger of the Congregational Church of Belmont and First Congregational Church of Redwood City, with the new church first gathering for worship on July 30, 2023. The congregation has been received into membership of the United Church of Christ and the Northern California Nevada Conference, and was also welcomed into the Golden Gate Conference. Worship includes music accompanied by guitar and piano, or by a pipe organ built and tended by a member of the congregation.
