About New Life Community Church
New Life Community Church in Clovis is a non-denominational, Bible-centered congregation dedicated to loving God, loving people, and serving their community. Founded shortly after World War II as a Japanese church, NLCC has grown into a welcoming, multicultural family that prioritizes inclusion and belonging for all visitors, regardless of background, ethnicity, or personal history. Led by Pastor Lawrence Bohanon, the church emphasizes Jesus Christ as the center of faith and community, offering both adult worship and children's programs during Sunday services. The congregation believes in the authority of Scripture, the Trinity, and salvation through Christ, while maintaining a casual, friendly atmosphere designed to help people experience new life and purpose through their faith journey.
First-Time Visitor Info for New Life Community Church
Dress Code: Come as you are; the atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Service Format: Sunday services at 10:00 AM last approximately 75 minutes, beginning with worship music with projected lyrics, followed by an encouraging message from one of the pastors, and sometimes concluding with additional songs. Children's Church is offered for ages infant through Grade 6 during each service. Visitor Tips: Plan to arrive 10 minutes early if your children will attend Children's Church to allow time for check-in. First-time visitors are encouraged to fill out the form on the church website to receive VIP treatment.
