About Community Church Congregational
Corona Del Mar Community Church is a welcoming Congregational congregation and the oldest church in its neighborhood, serving as a gathering place for people from all walks of life—students, professionals, artists, teachers, parents, retirees, and LGBTQ+ individuals. The church describes itself as traditional in form with a contemporary message, blending timeless worship practices with teachings that speak to modern life. As part of the United Church of Christ, the congregation emphasizes inclusion, spiritual exploration, and the freedom of individual faith journeys, inviting seekers, believers, and those with doubts to find community and meaning together. Worship centers on inspiring music from the choir, hymns, and soloists, combined with thought-provoking messages that connect scripture to everyday experience. The church extends its mission beyond Sunday services through community involvement, support during life transitions, and a commitment to justice and service.
