About Fairfax Community Church
Fairfax Community Church in Fairfax describes itself as a community of open-minded, open-hearted mystics rather than a traditional “churchy church.” Rooted in the mystical teachings of Yeshua, the Hebrew name for Jesus, the church honors many spiritual traditions and marks the equinoxes, solstices, and cross-quarter Shabbats. Its life together includes a commitment to social justice and transformative change in the wider community and world. The church is also home to the Fairfax Food Pantry, a local food support ministry open on Saturday mornings.
