About Galt United Methodist Church
Galt United Methodist Church is a warm, welcoming Methodist congregation in Galt, California, dedicated to worship, prayer, learning, and loving one another through community service. The church gathers on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. for services that blend traditional hymns with contemporary worship songs, led by Pastor Dave, and offers spiritual growth through Tuesday morning scripture study with Worship Leader Lynn Hieb. Beyond worship, Galt UMC is deeply invested in serving its community, notably operating the Sunshine Food Pantry and Resource Center, which distributes food to over 1,500 families monthly, as well as providing care during times of illness, grief, and life's major celebrations. The congregation fosters fellowship through monthly Lunch Bunch gatherings, Bible study, quilting, and active women's groups, inviting visitors to become part of the church family.
