About Self Realization Fellowship
Self Realization Fellowship in Glendale is a branch of the international nonprofit society founded by Paramahansa Yogananda, dedicated to sharing India's ancient philosophy of Yoga and meditation practices. Service Format: Sunday morning inspirational services begin at 11:00 a.m. and include shorter periods of chanting and meditation along with informal talks on Yogananda's teachings, lasting approximately 60 minutes. Evening group meditations are also offered on Sundays from 6:30 p.m. (3 hours) and Fridays at 7:00 p.m. (2 hours), beginning with energization exercises and including periods of devotional chanting. Visitor Tips: Newcomers are particularly welcome at the Sunday morning inspirational services, and families with children of all ages will find appropriate programs available during services. A parent-child room with toys and activities is available for infants and toddlers, with a screen allowing parents to view the morning service.
