About Glad Tidings Church
Glad Tidings Church is a Church of God in Christ congregation located in Hayward, California, founded in 1978 by Bishop and Mrs. J.W. Macklin. The church has grown from 125 members in 1981 to over 900 by the mid-1990s and operates two campuses—the North Campus at 970 Glad Tidings Way and the South Campus at 1027 W. Tennyson Road. Glad Tidings is deeply committed to community ministry and serves the Hayward area with multiple weekly worship services, prayer clinics, Bible studies, and youth programs. The congregation welcomes both in-person and online worship through Zoom, Facebook, YouTube, and their website, and also offers Spanish-language services through their Arca de Fe ministry.
