About Living Word Worship Center
Living Word Worship Center is a non-denominational, charismatic church in Lawndale with a focus on Jesus Christ and helping people experience freedom in Him. The church says it was started in 2004 by CJ and Lanita Gaul, and that its first church plant met in a mall, where they evangelized to shoppers and trained people for ministry. Living Word describes its church family as built around grace, love, and the Good News of the Gospel. Its outreach includes Operation Compassion, a ministry serving people experiencing homelessness with meals, clothing, hygiene items, and prayer. Children’s ministry is also part of the church’s programs.
