About Los Gatos United Methodist Church
Los Gatos United Methodist Church is a multi-generational, reconciling Christian community in the Methodist tradition. The congregation traces its beginnings to 1866, when Los Gatos’ first church began under an oak tree, and notes that it has had three sanctuaries over its history. LGUMC became a reconciling church in April 1995 and states its mission as growing as followers of Jesus Christ who live God’s love in the world. Alongside blended worship, the church offers small group experiences that include Bible studies, meditation experiences, support groups, and classes.
