About First Christian Church
First Christian Church in Newbury Park is a welcoming community dedicated to helping people encounter God in a fresh and powerful way. They offer two Sunday services at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM, available both in-person and online via livestream, with full children's programming from nursery through fifth grade. The church emphasizes authentic faith and community, encouraging visitors to come as they are in their imperfect journeys. Their worship features modern musical styles paired with timeless biblical truth, while messages are deeply rooted in Scripture with practical application for daily life. The congregation describes itself as a beautiful mess of imperfect people relying on grace, and they're committed to loving visitors the way God loves them. Leadership encourages newcomers to attend a Next Steps gathering to learn about the church's history, vision, values, and involvement opportunities.
