About Shree Pashupatinath Foundation
Shree Pashupatinath Foundation is a Hindu temple located in Norwalk, California, dedicated to preserving and promoting Nepali culture, heritage, arts, and language throughout the United States and beyond. The foundation serves as a spiritual and cultural hub for the Nepali community and those interested in learning about Nepal's rich traditions, particularly its connection to Pashupatinath and the birthplace of Gautam Buddha. The temple aims to unite people of all religious backgrounds, especially within the Southern California region, by fostering cultural and social harmony. Through its mission, the foundation aspires to build a cultural center and Buddha stupa alongside the Pashupatinath temple, creating a space where both Nepali and non-Nepali community members can engage with art, culture, education, and religion. The foundation operates as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and welcomes visitors interested in exploring Hindu traditions and Nepali heritage.
