What to Expect: A First-Time Visitor's Guide to Oakland City Church

Dress Code: At Oakland City Church, we have a casual and welcoming atmosphere. Feel free to come as you are - whether that's in jeans and a t-shirt or something a little dressier. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and ready to engage in worship.

Service Format: Our Sunday services typically last around 75 minutes and follow a familiar format. You can expect a time of contemporary worship music led by our talented worship team, followed by an inspiring message from one of our pastors. We also make time for fellowship, prayer, and an opportunity to respond to the message.

Kids and Youth: Oakland City Church has excellent programs for children and youth of all ages. Babies through high schoolers have their own age-appropriate environments where they can learn about Jesus in fun and engaging ways. You're welcome to check out the kids and youth areas when you arrive.

Tips for Visitors: - Come a few minutes early to allow time to park, get settled, and grab a cup of coffee or tea. - Sit wherever you feel comfortable - there's no assigned seating. - Participate as much or as little as you'd like during the service. Feel free to sing, pray, or just observe. - Don't feel obligated to give financially. The offering is for our regular attendees. - After the service, stop by the Welcome Center to say hello and pick up a free gift. - Ask any usher or staff member if you have questions or need assistance.
