The church offers worship in both English and Spanish, celebrates sacraments including baptisms, first communions, and confirmations, and maintains a long legacy of civil justice advocacy dating back to the early 1900s. In addition to weekly liturgical services, St. James provides numerous ministries including a food pantry, grief support, Bible study, and partnerships with regional organizations like ECHO, CAPSLO, and NeighborAid.

Service Format: Two Sunday Eucharistic services are offered at 8:00 AM (Rite 1) and 10:00 AM (Rite 2, with parts in Spanish), with the 10:00 AM service livestreamed on Facebook and featuring celebrations of baptisms, first communions, and confirmations.
