About Saint John's Episcopal Church
Saint John's Episcopal Church in Petaluma is a Christ-centered community dedicated to cultivating hope and sharing God's gifts with all. Located at 40 Fifth Street, the church embodies realistic hope for the healing and flourishing of human life, the planet, and the world through contemplative wisdom and creative responses to divine love. Under the leadership of Rector The Rev. Andy Lobban and Priest Associate The Rev. Melanie Donahoe, Saint John's strives to resist dehumanization and the destruction of the Earth while supporting a livable future for all. The congregation gathers each Sunday at 9:30 a.m. for worship in the Sanctuary and offers additional spiritual practices including Centering Prayer, Bible Study, Taizé services, and other contemplative offerings throughout the week. Saint John's welcomes all who seek to experience the joy of community and to join in worship, prayer, and the practice of the Way of Love both within the church and in the world.
