About Faith Lutheran Church
Faith Lutheran Church of Pioneer is an Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) congregation with 61 years of history in Amador County, California. Founded in 1988 from a group meeting in a carport, the church has grown into a vibrant faith community deeply committed to serving the local Pioneer area. The sanctuary features handcrafted elements including an altar made from a local Ponderosa Pine and a cross carved from Incense Cedar, creating a warm and intentional worship space. The congregation gathers on Sundays at 9:30 am for worship that follows the Church Year with special services for Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and other significant occasions. Visitors will find a welcoming community that emphasizes God's presence through Word and sacrament, with coffee and fellowship following each service.
