About Horizon Christian Fellowship
Horizon Christian Fellowship North County is a Rancho Santa Fe church with roots in the Calvary Chapel movement. The church traces its history to Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and Pastor Chuck Smith, and to a San Diego home Bible study begun by Pastor Mike MacIntosh in 1973. Horizon Christian Fellowship was officially started in the summer of 1976, and the North County church plant began in 1993 at the Del Mar Hilton before moving to its current Rancho Santa Fe facility. The church ministers to over 3,000 people weekly and supports missionaries and mission organizations.
