About Calvary Chapel Rialto
Calvary Chapel Rialto began in August 1979 in Rialto as a prayer meeting with twelve men and women. The church was incorporated by the State of California in May 1981 and sanctioned by Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa. Gillett Doggett was ordained as pastor by Pastor R. Denny of Calvary Chapel Chino, and Pastor Terry Hlebo took over leadership in June 1990. In May 2004, the church returned to the name Calvary Chapel Rialto. The sanctuary seats 1,500 people for each service, with Sunday services at 8:30 and 10:30 AM and a Wednesday service at 7:00 PM.
