About Church in Riverside
Church in Riverside began breaking the bread of the Lord’s table in 1990 after two years of home meetings and prayer. The church continues to emphasize meeting in homes and small gatherings throughout the week for prayer, fellowship, and Bible study, along with its Sunday Lord’s Day and ministry gathering. Chinese, Spanish, and English speakers meet both separately and together, reflecting the multilingual life of the congregation. The church has also played a major role in the development of the UCR Campus Work and continues to practice small “vital” group gatherings.
