About St. Andrew Newman Center
St. Andrew Newman Center is a Catholic parish established in 1971 and located in Riverside, California, serving students, faculty, and staff of the University of California at Riverside as well as the broader Riverside community. The parish has deep roots in campus ministry, having served the university since 1954 and Riverside City College since the late 1970s. Under the leadership of Rev. Hai Dominic Vu, the parish offers a welcoming environment for worship and spiritual growth. The Newman Center provides regular Mass celebrations throughout the week and special devotional opportunities including Eucharistic adoration and confession. As part of the Diocese of San Bernardino, the parish participates in the wider Catholic tradition while maintaining its unique focus on student and academic community ministry.

Service Format: Weekend Masses are held Saturday at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 7:00 p.m., with weekday Masses Monday and Wednesday-Friday at 5:30 p.m. Visitor Tips: Confessions are available Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or by appointment, and Eucharistic adoration with confession occurs Wednesdays from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
