About Experience Church
Experience Church is a non-denominational, charismatic church with congregations in the San Francisco Bay Area and Fairfield, California. Led by Pastors Mark and Amanda McGovern, the church traces its beginning to 2001, when Founding Pastors Mark and Gail Smallcombe felt called to plant a church in San Francisco. Its mission centers on discipleship: “We make radiant disciples that make disciples.” The church also serves the community through weekly street outreach and a food pantry. In worship and teaching, Experience Church affirms the baptism of the Holy Spirit and teaches that it may be accompanied by speaking in other tongues.
