Palomar Korean Church in San Marcos, California is a non-denominational congregation with deep roots in the local community, having been founded in 1995 by Pastor Myeong Sung Suh with a vision of forming Christian community through small groups. Originally established as Escondido Korean Presbyterian Church, the congregation relocated to San Marcos in 1997 and adopted its current name, drawing inspiration from Palomar Mountain and the symbolism of the dove as a representation of the Holy Spirit. The church is affiliated with the Korean Presbyterian Church in America and the San Diego Ministerial Association, and offers multiple worship services throughout the week including Sunday services in Korean at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., as well as English ministry overflow services, college services, youth programs, and Wednesday evening worship.
