About Christian Science Reading Room

Christian Science Reading Room in San Rafael is a branch of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, and welcomes all visitors to its spiritual community. The church holds Sunday services from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with concurrent Sunday School classes for children and young people up to age twenty, offered both in-person and online via Zoom. Wednesday evening meetings at 7:30 PM provide an opportunity for the community to share spiritual insights and experiences of healing through Christian Science practice. The reading room, located at 1400 Fourth Street in downtown San Rafael, is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and serves as a place for hope, inspiration, and healing, where visitors can read or purchase the Bible, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, and other materials supporting spiritual understanding. The church also hosts Christian Science lectures that explore healing truths and the teachings of Mary Baker Eddy and Christ Jesus.
