About Sunrise Community Church
Sunrise Community Church is a non-denominational congregation in Temple City with roots in the 1970s, when it began as a daughter church vision of Dr. Raymond C. Ortlund. Originally known as “The Little Church on the 3rd Floor,” the church has been located at Westminster Presbyterian Church since finding that home. Bob and Patti Ver Burg led the congregation from 1975 to 1996, and Andrew Kikkert has served as pastor since 2001. Church life includes children’s ministry, small groups, Bible studies during the week, monthly community prayer, Game Nights, and Friday Night Fellowship.
