About Mishkon Tephilo Congregation
Mishkon Tephilo Congregation is a Jewish community in Venice led by Rabbi Joshua Katzan. Its worship life includes Friday evening Kabbalat Shabbat and candle lighting, Shabbat morning services, and seasonal Shabbat on the Beach gatherings at Santa Monica Beach during the summer. The congregation also observes the High Holy Days with services for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. For families, Mishkon Tephilo offers both a preschool and a religious school, supporting Jewish learning for young children and school-age students.
