About The River Community Church
The River Community Church in Ventura began in 2003 as a Bible study at East Ventura Foursquare Church, led by Jim and Pam Duran. The church launched as The River in 2004 and found its home in 2012 on a historic church property that had housed one of the earliest Foursquare churches. Its story connects local Foursquare heritage with a congregation shaped around loving God, loving people, and creating a place where everyone belongs.
