About Mission Rescue Yolo Wayfarer Center-Christian Miss
Mission Rescue Yolo Wayfarer Center, now doing business as Fourth & Hope, is a faith-based Christian ministry in Woodland dedicated to serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness and vulnerability. Founded in 1985 by concerned residents who began distributing meals and eventually established a soup kitchen, the organization has grown over more than 40 years to provide a comprehensive continuum of care including emergency shelter, housing, treatment services, meals, and behavioral health support. Rooted in compassion and the Christian mission to show the love of Jesus Christ in words and actions, Fourth & Hope partners with public agencies and community organizations throughout Yolo County to address immediate needs while supporting long-term stability and recovery. The ministry operates under Charitable Choice principles, welcoming everyone in a safe, non-discriminatory environment regardless of religious background.
