About Church Of The Holy Comforter
Church of the Holy Comforter is an Episcopal congregation in Broomfield, Colorado with roots tracing back to 1958, when twelve local families began worshiping together and petitioned the Diocese of Colorado to establish a mission in their growing community. The church moved to its current three-acre location in 1962 and has since become a welcoming, lay-led parish that celebrates both traditional Anglican heritage and contemporary expressions of faith. Holy Comforter emphasizes inclusive community—welcoming all people regardless of gender, race, sexuality, or religious background—and integrates faith into daily life through diverse ministries including music, altar guild work, creation care, and community service. The congregation includes couples, singles, young families, and long-time members drawn from across the region, united by their baptismal commitment to seek and serve Christ in their neighbors and work for justice and peace for all people.
