About First Friends Church
First Friends Church is a Quaker congregation in Colorado Springs affiliated with Evangelical Friends Church-International. Its worship reflects a Friends style that the church describes as quieter than some, centered on the present reality and life of Christ among the congregation. Sunday mornings include Bible classes followed by the worship service, and a youth group meets later on Sundays. The church lists a pastoral team that includes Becky Towne, Dan Jamison, Jim Towne, Merle Clowe, and Debbie Clowe, and it is currently seeking a full-time pastoral position.
