About Cameron United Methodist Church
Cameron United Methodist Church is the oldest continuing Methodist congregation in south Denver, with roots tracing back to 1888 when it was organized as Fleming's Grove Methodist Church. The present building, constructed between 1909 and 1913, stands as a historic landmark in the community. Cameron UMC is a progressive Christian community committed to showing God's love and grace to all people, welcoming everyone regardless of sexual orientation, race, nationality, gender, family configuration, ethnic background, economic circumstances, ability, culture, or age. The church believes faith is a journey enriched through community and seeks to create a safe, sacred space where people can grow in faith and explore Christian questions together.
