About St Benedict Church
St. Benedict Catholic Church is a welcoming parish community located in Falcon, Colorado, serving the high plains east of Colorado Springs, including military personnel from Peterson and Shriever Air Force Bases. Founded in 2005 by a small group of area Catholics, the parish was officially approved by the Colorado Springs Diocese later that same year. In 2012, the parish purchased a thirty-five acre ranch, and after extensive renovation, the barn was transformed into the church building, which was dedicated and consecrated by Bishop Michael Sheridan in October 2017. Under the pastoral leadership of Fr. Michael Goodyear, St. Benedict fosters a vibrant and thriving community dedicated to unity, spiritual growth, and active ministry involvement. The parish offers a range of events, faith formation opportunities, and ministries designed to serve the diverse needs and interests of its members, and welcomes visitors to experience their welcoming Catholic community.
