About Silver State Baptist Youth
Silver State Baptist Youth Camp is a Bible-centered ministry rooted in nearly 80 years of Christian heritage, located in the scenic Jarre Canyon just outside of Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1946 by Dr. Harvey Springer and First Baptist Church of Englewood, the camp serves as a place for young people and families to engage with God's Word in a peaceful, isolated setting away from worldly distractions. The camp operates in partnership with local independent Baptist churches and emphasizes Bible teaching and preaching as the cornerstone of its ministry, with facilities now capable of accommodating over 400 participants. Throughout its history, Silver State has influenced thousands of lives through the Gospel, with many attendees making professions of faith and dedicating themselves to Christian service. The camp maintains its foundational commitment to biblical instruction and spiritual transformation, continuing the legacy established over its rich seven-decade history.
