About Advent Lutheran Church
Advent Lutheran Church in Westminster, Colorado is a Reconciling in Christ community deeply committed to embracing the full diversity of God's creation. The church welcomes people of all backgrounds, identities, and life circumstances, explicitly affirming that sexual orientation, gender identity, race, age, ability status, and socio-economic circumstances are all valued reflections of God's love. Shaped by its diverse community, Advent works toward racial and gender equity while acknowledging and repairing harm caused by past injustices in organized religion. The congregation gathers for worship on Sunday mornings and extends its mission—"So all may know Christ's love!"—through active community engagement, including food drives, youth programs, and presence at local celebrations and events.
