About South Congregational Church
South Congregational Church is an open and affirming congregation of the United Church of Christ in the south end of East Hartford. Its worship life is traditional, with music, hymns, scripture readings, a sermon, and prayers. Communion is usually served on the first Sunday of each month and is open to adults and children. Alongside Sunday worship, the church offers children’s ministry and small groups, and Pastor Kevin leads a weekly Bible Conversation & Study on Wednesday mornings. The congregation also shares church news through a monthly newsletter, “The View.”
