About Solid Rock Baptist
Solid Rock Baptist Church has served the Dover community for over seven decades, with roots in a vision for the church dating to October 1933. Rev. William A. Grimes, Jr. has served as senior pastor since December 2007 and led the church’s first major building project in 2015. That project established a 4,200-square-foot Community Outreach Center, which the church uses to provide meals for people who are homeless, after-school programs, summer camps, and community events. The center also serves as a resource center for the wider community.
