Service Format: The 8:30 a.m. service is a brief, spoken-only service lasting about 30 minutes, while the 10:00 a.m. service (about an hour) includes instrumental music, congregational singing, and often special music; both follow a traditional but not stuffy structure with provided bulletins, and Holy Communion is offered at every service.

Visitor Tips: Georgetown Lutheran is located on Wisconsin Avenue in the heart of Georgetown, convenient to multiple bus lines and a walk from Dupont or Foggy Bottom metro stations, with free street parking available on Sunday mornings. The sanctuary and church spaces are on one flat level, and the church welcomes children with a dedicated kids' space in the front right of the sanctuary.
